CEO, President: Thaddeus T. Nowak
Chef Nowak is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a Culinary Arts degree. In 1984 Thad was a Silver medalist in the Culinary Olympics held at NMU. After graduation, Thad went on to work at a number of fine dining establishments: The Embers in Mt. pleasant, and Treetops Sylvan Resort and the Rain Dancer in Gaylord until meeting Executive Chef Jeff Heinzman in 1989 at Macardy's Steakhouse restaurant in Macomb County. From there on, these two developed a lasting friendship. While working together, Thad and Chef Jeff developed a line of gourmet seasonings used on a number of items from: BBQ Ribs, Steaks, Brisket, Seafood, vegetables, etc. (basically everything).
Executive Chef Jeff Heinzman, C.E.C., A.A.C.
Chef Jeff Heinzman holds the distinction of being the youngest inductee into the prestigious American Academy of Chefs. He is an American Culinary Federation, Certified Executive Chef with over 40 years of culinary experience. A three time Michigan A.C.F Chef of the Year recipient, successful restauranteur and culinary educator. His resume includes such places as Detroit's famous London Chop House, Gowanie Country Club , Villa Bella five-star retirement facility and Hienzman's Heidelberg. Over the years Chef Jeff has successfully developed these signature seasonings using them on award winning dishes that include BBQ ribs, beef brisket, steaks, poultry, fish, vegetables and a variety of other items.
